10am Morning Worship
Join us for worship, prayer and teaching led by Sue on the theme of ‘Interpreting culture’. Lectionary passages for this week are: Hebrews 11:29-12:2, Isaiah 5:1–7, Psalm 80:1–2/8–19 and Luke 12:49–56.
Services during the summer holidays are usually smaller and more low key as people come and go on holidays. Morning services at HLBC include a variety of music styles and singing, Bible teaching and prayer. There is no regular Sunday Club in August but services seek to be more all-age inclusive or else offer some provision for children aged up to 11. A baby room is also available at the back of the church during the service. Refreshments are available after the service ends, usually between 11.15 to 11.30am.
