PRAY GLOBALLY, GATHER LOCALLY. PRAY WITH ONE VOICE!

“When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place…”
Acts 2:1

This Pentecost Sunday, united by a Prayer for the World, Christians from all over the world, from different cultures and denominations, from many diverse streams will be gathering in their homes or where appropriate, assembling on Zoom or YouTube and devoting portions of their Sunday services to united prayer.

As at the first Pentecost, the global church of Jesus Christ will worship and pray for the healing and blessing of the nations. On this day we are all praying WITH the world as we pray FOR the world.

This year’s Leeds Global Day of Prayer will be taking place on Zoom. It’s hosted by Gateway Church in Leeds. In this years Leeds global day of prayer there will be break-out rooms, a series of pre-recordings and worship will assist in helping us pray for different nationalities and people groups. There will be a substantial focus on how different nationalities are coping with Coronavirus whether they be here in Leeds or abroad.
