This month’s Arty Friday will be all about the art of looking at things!
Focused around drawing what you see, tonight’s session will be focused around a still life display. From 6.30pm drop by and try out lots of different arty materials – paint, drawing, pastels etc – and get some inspiration from the items around you (or use your own imagination!). At 7.30pm there will be a short led workshop based around the still life display and different ways of approaching still life art. Feel free to drop in at a time that suits you – Arty Fridays usually finish up around 9 to 9.15pm.
NB Arty Friday starts at 6.30pm this month to enable younger visitors to have a get some creative time in! Tonight’s session is at Harehills Lane Baptist Church (side entrance).
Everyone is welcome at Arty Friday – there are always activities for kids to get stuck into, as well as for grown-ups to relax over.
Drink and cakes provided. Arty Fridays are free – if you can manage a £1 donation on the night it is gladly received and will go towards room hire and refreshments cost.
