Sunday Worship – John 7

10am Morning Service

Join us for worship, prayer and teaching. Our series on John continues with John 7.45-53.

Morning services at HLBC include a variety of music styles and singing, Bible teaching and prayer. Currently children aged 13 and under leave after 20–30 minutes to go to their own Sunday Club activities. Refreshments are available after the service ends, usually between 11.15 to 11.30am.

6.30pm Evening Worship

This service tonight is our regular healing meeting, with worship and prayer together. This last Sunday in the month is centred around communion and Jesus’ power and authority to bring healing to broken lives.

Buildings Meeting

An open meeting for anyone interested in plans for our buildings!

Questions answered, details provided, plans to look at. Come and find out all about the proposed buildings project. Don’t forget that there are info leaflets and Bible studies available for use at home and in small groups.

A soup lunch will be provided, and we will start after everyone has had chance to recover after the morning service!

6.30pm Evening Worship

A smaller gathering for worship, word and prayer. We welcome Ian who will be preaching tonight, with Maureen leading.

Harvest Service

10am Morning Service

This morning is our Harvest Celebration. The service will be a short, family-friendly worship time, with music and singing, prayer and teaching. There is no Sunday Club this morning, but there will be lots of opportunity for everyone to participate in this act of thanksgiving. Led by Amy and continuing our series in John (6.22-71).

If you would like to make a donation of food for the Harvest display, please bring it between 4 and 5 on Saturday 15th October to the Green Room. (Helpers for setting up are very welcome too!). Alternatively there will be chance to present it on Sunday morning.

Dried and tinned goods will be donated to PAFRAS for sharing with asylum seekers. Fresh produce will be used for our shared lunch next Sunday, and in Courtyard Cafe.

A smaller gathering for worship, word and prayer. We continue our study of Ephesians, with Graeme leading on: ‘Living a holy life’. (4.17-32)

Join us for worship, prayer and teaching. Our series on John continues with John 6.1-22.

Morning services include a variety of music styles and singing, opportunity for prayer and Bible teaching. Currently young people age 13 and under can go out after 20-30 minutes of all-age time for Sunday Club activities.

6.30pm Evening Worship

A smaller gathering for worship, word and prayer. We continue our study of Ephesians: ‘Unity in the Body of Christ’. (4.1-16)

Arty Friday

Arty Friday is back!

After a long summer break, step back into the wonderful world of art. Topic to be confirmed.

Everyone is welcome at Arty Friday – there are always activities for kids to get stuck into, as well as for grown-ups to relax over.

Drink and cakes provided. Arty Fridays are free – if you can manage a £1 donation on the night it is gladly received and will go towards room hire and refreshments cost.
