Arty Friday

Arty Fridays started in January 2010 and have blossomed into friendly, fun and creative community evenings!

The idea of Arty Fridays is to make a creative space available for anyone and everyone to come and learn new skills, enjoy using old ones and learn from others’ gifts. Each session focuses on a different theme or topic, some are more ‘hands on’ than others.

Our evenings so far have included:

Music reading
Good Friday art
Portrait painting
Folk music jam
Poetry workshop
Puppet workshop
Christmas crafts
Craft skills share
Sewing and textiles
Circle dancing
and a Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe night.

There are activities to suit children as well as the adults, and we have a lot of fun together in a very easy-going environment.

Arty Fridays are usually in the church Green Room, 7.30pm on the first Friday of the month. Forthcoming sessions will be posted in Events and advertised in the Church entrance.
